The 1000 that do not go Unanswered

When the Chanukah candles begin to burn, that’s when the big project takes off.

We know that Heaven listens to the words of the Gedolei Hador shlita. If a tzaddik issues a decree, Hashem fulfills that decree.

There a couple other things that are pretty well known: prayers have special power when recited in the Mekomos Hakedoshim, and the recitation of Sefer Tehillim is especially auspicious.

Another thing everyone knows is the power of a donation to Vaad Harabbanim to bring about yeshu’os, unexpectedly good events that some folks would describe as “miraculous” in their very nature. Things that were going wrong suddenly take a turn for the right. Problems evaporate. Issues clear up in a nearly unbelievable way.

There are so many stories about this happening in the lives of ordinary people that even a hard-nosed sceptic would find it hard to be skeptical. Okay, look, some people don’t allow the facts to influence their opinions. But we don’t know anyone like that, right?

A Thousand Lights

We are used to ambitious projects here in Vaad Harabbanim. But even so, some staff members found it hard to believe that this one was going to work.

It sounded like just too much: 1000 recitations of the entire Sefer Tehillim, which means 2000 hours of tefilah. And the participation of the Gedolei Hador themselves, augmented by hand-picked emissaries who are talmidei chachamim in their own right. And on top of that, doing it in the Mekomos Hakedoshim. The difficulties were exponential. Can it be done?

It is going to happen. We worked it out.

This is a really big one, and we don’t want you to miss it. It’s just too good!

So opt in, make your donation to Vaad Harabbanim, and you are part of this grand project. The sky’s the limit for what this one can do. Try it and see.
