R’ Pinchas Menachem Zonenfeld was an iconic figure in Yerushalayim. Known as ‘Pini’ he was beloved by so many who cherished his joyful spirit and who benefited from his immense kindness.
Everyone who came in touch with him was moved by his kindness and bright smile, he was full of life and exuded joy even in his toughest times.
To Pinya, his family was everything and he worked very hard to support and provide for them. His house was a nest of joy and happiness with an open door and heart for everyone.
The news about his passing in a young age left so many in shock and grief, but especially his family, who lost their beloved father and provider. And In the midst of this grief, his family faces the challenge of going forward with his son’s wedding, a time that should be of immense joy, but is now shadowed by immense sorrow.
The family is in despait and they need our support – emotionally, and, financially. The burden of the chasuna expenses amidst the loss is overwhelming.
It is our duty to come together and do whatever we can to ease this burden for Pini’s family during this profoundly difficult time. It’s the least we can do to honor the memory of who always reached out to help others.
