Tefilas HaChashmonaim On the Day of “Zos Chanukah” Facing the Kodesh Hakodoshim

Never give up. It’s a motto, a mantra, a battle cry.

The kohanim did not give up, when they fought the Greeks back then. And they won, against impossible odds.

Hashem did miracles for them, and He does for us, too. So let’s latch onto success.

The kohanim are still with us today. The place of the Beis Hamikdash is still with us today. And so is Chanukah.

That’s why the kohanim are going, on Chanukah, to stand next to the place of the Beis Hamikdash, and miraculously win the war once again – for you!

Chanukah is not something that happened then. It is happening now. Right now.

The Ultimate Day

One little jug of oil is all they found. But never give up. It’s a motto, a mantra, a battle cry.

They lit the Menorah with the little oil they had, while they went looking for more.

Somehow, inexplicably, there was still enough oil for the second day.

And the third, and the fourth…

The miracle reached its ultimate height on the eight day. The day of Zos Chanukah. After that, they had a steady supply of pure oil for the Menorah, and everything was on the up and up. Success after success. Step forward after step forward. Achievement after achievement.

That’s why the kohanim are going, on the day of Zos Chanukah, to stand next to the place of the Beis Hamikdash, and miraculously win the war once again – for you! Because Zos Chanukah is the ultimate day of success.

Never give up. It’s a motto, a mantra, a battle cry.

Kohanecha Hakedoshim

Every miracle needs someone to do it. The Sea of Reeds split only after Moshe Rabbeinu raised his hand over it. That’s how it is with miracles. That’s how they work.

So who is going to do miracles for you?

Not a problem.

Moreinu Harav Hagaon Aharon Yehudah Leib Steinman shlita says, “Everything is in the hands of the kohanim. All the berachos and all the yeshu’os in every area. That is the power that the kohanim received from HaKadosh Baruch Hu.”

So you see, it’s not a problem. Never give up. It’s a motto, a mantra, a battle cry.

You, dear donor to Vaad Harabbanim, are entitled to latch on to all this. You are entitled to the best. And this is the miraculously powerful and historically proven key to success!

And The Rest Was History

The Seforim Hakedoshim tell us which Tehillim the Chashmonaim recited as they went out to their gloriously successful campaign against the Greek forces of evil.

That’s what the kohanim are going to recite for you, on Zos Chanukah, as they gather inside the inner tunnels of the Kosel, at the place directly facing the Kodesh Hakodoshim.

And this select group of pure-lineaged kohanim is composed of great tzaddikim and talmidei chachamim. Big names.

In the merit of tzedakah to Vaad Harabbanim, you can latch onto this amazing phenomenon, which unleashes the same undefeatable power that granted victory to the Chashmonaim. Never give up. It’s a motto, a mantra, a battle cry.

Miracles and yeshu’os and berachos and everything good. It’s yours for the having! So please join in.
