Corresponding to every hour of Tefilah, our donation will come to another home of Vaad Harabbanim, and the pure angels of tzedakah, weighty and powerful, will join together with our Tefilos. 960 hours of Tefilah, 960 Jewish families that will receive a comforting and supporting embrace from the Jewish people.

Who can pass up on such a zechus at a time when our fate is literally hanging in the balance? We are dangling midair, and Chazal tell us that Teshuvah, Tefilah and Tzedakah cancel the evil decree. So, when we are sent the most powerful Tefilah in the world, with the most mehudar tzedakah of the Gedolei Hador themselves, we should grab this zechus!

Rosh Chodesh Elul, as the sun is setting. The Kosel Hamaaravi stretches up to the heavens, clean and pure. White doves coo between the ancient stones and our shluchim, faithful shelichei tzibbur who busy themselves only with Torah and avodas Hashem, begin the tremendous Tefilah campaign. The Tefilos from the Kosel Hamaaravi blend with the pleas from Mame Rochel and from Rebbi Shimon bar Yochai and from Amukah and from the Shlah Hakadosh. And they are joined by the donations we made with love and Jewish brotherhood to the nine hundred and sixty families.

This is the way – surrounded by the strong wall of protection as prescribed by Heaven, unified with the Gedolei Hador in the giant Tefilah, in the giant Tzedakah – we will be zocheh to a Shanah Tovah!!!
