The Yeshu’os Coin of Rabbeinu Chaim Kanievsky Shlita

13/26/5781 03.09.2021

The ingots were brought to Rav Chaim’s home before they were cast, and he placed his pure hands upon them and blessed the donors that they should thereby acquire zechusim. The Gadol Hador inscribed a handwritten bracha, with personal words to you. The coins were then sent to be cast, with the bracha engraved on them.

Just yesterday we began year 5781 under severe Coronavirus restrictions. Minyanim were not like before, we didn’t know when the vaccine would become available and whether it would be effective. We didn’t know yet about the British, South-African and Delta variants.

And we didn’t know that besides COVID 19, there were many other things over which we needed to cry out. Ribono Shel Olam – what else do we need to go through before we will see the Geulah Sheleimah?

We are standing once again at the entrance of a year. 5782 is being written now, and we ask what should we daven for beforehand?

At this auspicious time, the Gadol Hador is offering Vaad Harabbanim’s donors a shemirah coin!

The Torah’s Blessing

Rav Chaim Kanievsky wanted special coins to be produced for Vaad Harabbanim’s donors, and he will place the Torah’s bracha on them. Whoever is his partner in supporting thousands of poor Jews will receive this special holy coin, for Shemirah and Blessing.

We believe in Hakadosh Baruch Hu. And we believe in the tzaddikim whom He planted in every generation. When they decree, the heavenly hosts answer “Amen.”

When the Gadol Hador places his kedushah on the coin, we feel the need to get this treasure for ourselves!

Before a new suit or household article, before deliberating whether to take a cottage or vacation home, first of all, we need to bring in the birkas haTorah! To guard us, to protect our children, to take shelter by the zechus of the Tzaddik!

The minted coins were then brought to 23 Rashbam St. Bnei Brak, and Rav Chaim’s eyes lit up.

These coins are for you, dear donor.

Fortunate is he who brings this bracha into his home!
